प्र1:- पुनर्जन्म किसको कहते हैं ?

उत्तर :- जब जीवात्मा एक शरीर का त्याग करके किसी दूसरे शरीर में जाती है तो इस बार बार जन्म लेने की क्रिया को पुनर्जन्म कहते हैं ।

(2) प्रश्न :- पुनर्जन्म क्यों होता है ?

उत्तर :- जब एक जन्म के अच्छे बुरे कर्मों के फल अधुरे रह जाते हैं तो उनको भोगने के लिए दूसरे जन्म आवश्यक हैं ।

(3) प्रश्न :- अच्छे बुरे कर्मों का फल एक ही जन्म में क्यों नहीं मिल जाता ? एक में ही सब निपट जाये तो कितना अच्छा हो ?

उत्तर :- नहीं जब एक जन्म में कर्मों का फल शेष रह जाए तो उसे भोगने के लिए दूसरे जन्म अपेक्षित होते हैं ।

(4) प्रश्न :- पुनर्जन्म को कैसे समझा जा सकता है ?

उत्तर :- पुनर्जन्म को समझने के लिए जीवन और मृत्यु को समझना आवश्यक है । और जीवन मृत्यु को समझने के लिए शरीर को समझना आवश्यक है ।

(5) प्रश्न :- शरीर के बारे में समझाएँ ?

उत्तर :- हमारे शरीर को निर्माण प्रकृति से हुआ है ।

जिसमें मूल प्रकृति ( सत्व रजस और तमस ) से प्रथम बुद्धि तत्व का निर्माण हुआ है ।

बुद्धि से अहंकार ( बुद्धि का आभामण्डल ) ।

अहंकार से पांच ज्ञानेन्द्रियाँ ( चक्षु, जिह्वा, नासिका, त्वचा, श्रोत्र ), मन ।

पांच कर्मेन्द्रियाँ ( हस्त, पाद, उपस्थ, पायु, वाक् ) ।

शरीर की रचना को दो भागों में बाँटा जाता है ( सूक्ष्म शरीर और स्थूल शरीर ) ।

(6) प्रश्न :- सूक्ष्म शरीर किसको बोलते हैं ?

उत्तर :- सूक्ष्म शरीर में बुद्धि, अहंकार, मन, ज्ञानेन्द्रियाँ । ये सूक्ष्म शरीर आत्मा को सृष्टि के आरम्भ में जो मिलता है वही एक ही सूक्ष्म शरीर सृष्टि के अंत तक उस आत्मा के साथ पूरे एक सृष्टि काल ( ४३२००००००० वर्ष ) तक चलता है । और यदि बीच में ही किसी जन्म में कहीं आत्मा का मोक्ष हो जाए तो ये सूक्ष्म शरीर भी प्रकृति में वहीं लीन हो जायेगा ।

(7) प्रश्न :- स्थूल शरीर किसको कहते हैं ?

उत्तर :- पंच कर्मेन्द्रियाँ ( हस्त, पाद, उपस्थ, पायु, वाक् ) , ये समस्त पंचभौतिक बाहरी शरीर ।

(8) प्रश्न :- जन्म क्या होता है ?

उत्तर :- जीवात्मा का अपने करणों ( सूक्ष्म शरीर ) के साथ किसी पंचभौतिक शरीर में आ जाना ही जन्म कहलाता है ।

(9) प्रश्न :- मृत्यु क्या होती है ?

उत्तर :- जब जीवात्मा का अपने पंचभौतिक स्थूल शरीर से वियोग हो जाता है, तो उसे ही मृत्यु कहा जाता है । परन्तु मृत्यु केवल सथूल शरीर की होती है , सूक्ष्म शरीर की नहीं । सूक्ष्म शरीर भी छूट गया तो वह मोक्ष कहलाएगा मृत्यु नहीं । मृत्यु केवल शरीर बदलने की प्रक्रिया है, जैसे मनुष्य कपड़े बदलता है । वैसे ही आत्मा शरीर भी बदलता है ।

(10) प्रश्न :- मृत्यु होती ही क्यों है ?

उत्तर :- जैसे किसी एक वस्तु का निरन्तर प्रयोग करते रहने से उस वस्तु का सामर्थ्य घट जाता है, और उस वस्तु को बदलना आवश्यक हो जाता है, ठीक वैसे ही एक शरीर का सामर्थ्य भी घट जाता है और इन्द्रियाँ निर्बल हो जाती हैं । जिस कारण उस शरीर को बदलने की प्रक्रिया का नाम ही मृत्यु है ।

(11) प्रश्न :- मृत्यु न होती तो क्या होता ?

उत्तर :- तो बहुत अव्यवस्था होती । पृथ्वी की जनसंख्या बहुत बढ़ जाती । और यहाँ पैर धरने का भी स्थान न होता ।

(12) प्रश्न :- क्या मृत्यु होना बुरी बात है ?

उत्तर :- नहीं, मृत्यु होना कोई बुरी बात नहीं ये तो एक प्रक्रिया है शरीर परिवर्तन की ।

(13) प्रश्न :- यदि मृत्यु होना बुरी बात नहीं है तो लोग इससे इतना डरते क्यों हैं ?

उत्तर :- क्योंकि उनको मृत्यु के वैज्ञानिक स्वरूप की जानकारी नहीं है । वे अज्ञानी हैं । वे समझते हैं कि मृत्यु के समय बहुत कष्ट होता है । उन्होंने वेद, उपनिषद, या दर्शन को कभी पढ़ा नहीं वे ही अंधकार में पड़ते हैं और मृत्यु से पहले कई बार मरते हैं ।

(14) प्रश्न :- तो मृत्यु के समय कैसा लगता है ? थोड़ा सा तो बतायें ?

उत्तर :- जब आप बिस्तर में लेटे लेटे नींद में जाने लगते हैं तो आपको कैसा लगता है ?? ठीक वैसा ही मृत्यु की अवस्था में जाने में लगता है उसके बाद कुछ अनुभव नहीं होता । जब आपकी मृत्यु किसी हादसे से होती है तो उस समय आमको मूर्छा आने लगती है, आप ज्ञान शून्य होने लगते हैं जिससे की आपको कोई पीड़ा न हो । तो यही ईश्वर की सबसे बड़ी कृपा है कि मृत्यु के समय मनुष्य ज्ञान शून्य होने लगता है और सुषुुप्तावस्था में जाने लगता है ।

(15) प्रश्न :- मृत्यु के डर को दूर करने के लिए क्या करें ?

उत्तर :- जब आप वैदिक आर्ष ग्रन्थ ( उपनिषद, दर्शन आदि ) का गम्भीरता से अध्ययन करके जीवन,मृत्यु, शरीर, आदि के विज्ञान को जानेंगे तो आपके अन्दर का, मृत्यु के प्रति भय मिटता चला जायेगा और दूसरा ये की योग मार्ग पर चलें तो स्वंय ही आपका अज्ञान कमतर होता जायेगा और मृत्यु भय दूर हो जायेगा । आप निडर हो जायेंगे । जैसे हमारे बलिदानियों की गाथायें आपने सुनी होंगी जो राष्ट्र की रक्षा के लिये बलिदान हो गये । तो आपको क्या लगता है कि क्या वो ऐसे ही एक दिन में बलिदान देने को तैय्यार हो गये थे ? नहीं उन्होने भी योगदर्शन, गीता, साँख्य, उपनिषद, वेद आदि पढ़कर ही निर्भयता को प्राप्त किया था । योग मार्ग को जीया था, अज्ञानता का नाश किया था ।

महाभारत के युद्ध में भी जब अर्जुन भीष्म, द्रोणादिकों की मृत्यु के भय से युद्ध की मंशा को त्याग बैठा था तो योगेश्वर कृष्ण ने भी तो अर्जुन को इसी सांख्य, योग, निष्काम कर्मों के सिद्धान्त के माध्यम से जीवन मृत्यु का ही तो रहस्य समझाया था और यह बताया कि शरीर तो मरणधर्मा है ही तो उसी शरीर विज्ञान को जानकर ही अर्जुन भयमुक्त हुआ । तो इसी कारण तो वेदादि ग्रन्थों का स्वाध्याय करने वाल मनुष्य ही राष्ट्र के लिए अपना शीश कटा सकता है, वह मृत्यु से भयभीत नहीं होता , प्रसन्नता पूर्वक मृत्यु को आलिंगन करता है ।

(16) प्रश्न :- किन किन कारणों से पुनर्जन्म होता है ?

उत्तर :- आत्मा का स्वभाव है कर्म करना, किसी भी क्षण आत्मा कर्म किए बिना रह ही नहीं सकता । वे कर्म अच्छे करे या फिर बुरे, ये उसपर निर्भर है, पर कर्म करेगा अवश्य । तो ये कर्मों के कारण ही आत्मा का पुनर्जन्म होता है । पुनर्जन्म के लिए आत्मा सर्वथा ईश्वराधीन है ।

(17) प्रश्न :- पुनर्जन्म कब कब नहीं होता ?

उत्तर :- जब आत्मा का मोक्ष हो जाता है तब पुनर्जन्म नहीं होता है ।

(18) प्रश्न :- मोक्ष होने पर पुनर्जन्म क्यों नहीं होता ?

उत्तर :- क्योंकि मोक्ष होने पर स्थूल शरीर तो पंचतत्वों में लीन हो ही जाता है, पर सूक्ष्म शरीर जो आत्मा के सबसे निकट होता है, वह भी अपने मूल कारण प्रकृति में लीन हो जाता है ।

(19) प्रश्न :- मोक्ष के बाद क्या कभी भी आत्मा का पुनर्जन्म नहीं होता ?

उत्तर :- मोक्ष की अवधि तक आत्मा का पुनर्जन्म नहीं होता । उसके बाद होता है ।

(20) प्रश्न :- लेकिन मोक्ष तो सदा के लिए होता है, तो फिर मोक्ष की एक निश्चित अवधि कैसे हो सकती है ?

उत्तर :- सीमित कर्मों का कभी असीमित फल नहीं होता । यौगिक दिव्य कर्मों का फल हमें ईश्वरीय आनन्द के रूप में मिलता है, और जब ये मोक्ष की अवधि समाप्त होती है तो दुबारा से ये आत्मा शरीर धारण करती है ।

(21) प्रश्न :- मोक्ष की अवधि कब तक होती है ?

उत्तर :- मोक्ष का समय ३१ नील १० खरब ४० अरब वर्ष है, जब तक आत्मा मुक्त अवस्था में रहती है ।

(22) प्रश्न :- मोक्ष की अवस्था में स्थूल शरीर या सूक्ष्म शरीर आत्मा के साथ रहता है या नहीं ?

उत्तर :- नहीं मोक्ष की अवस्था में आत्मा पूरे ब्रह्माण्ड का चक्कर लगाता रहता है और ईश्वर के आनन्द में रहता है, बिलकुल ठीक वैसे ही जैसे कि मछली पूरे समुद्र में रहती है । और जीव को किसी भी शरीर की आवश्यक्ता ही नहीं होती।

(23) प्रश्न :- मोक्ष के बाद आत्मा को शरीर कैसे प्राप्त होता है ?

उत्तर :- सबसे पहला तो आत्मा को कल्प के आरम्भ ( सृष्टि आरम्भ ) में सूक्ष्म शरीर मिलता है फिर ईश्वरीय मार्ग और औषधियों की सहायता से प्रथम रूप में अमैथुनी जीव शरीर मिलता है, वो शरीर सर्वश्रेष्ठ मनुष्य या विद्वान का होता है जो कि मोक्ष रूपी पुण्य को भोगने के बाद आत्मा को मिला है । जैसे इस वाली सृष्टि के आरम्भ में चारों ऋषि विद्वान ( वायु , आदित्य, अग्नि , अंगिरा ) को मिला जिनको वेद के ज्ञान से ईश्वर ने अलंकारित किया । क्योंकि ये ही वो पुण्य आत्मायें थीं जो मोक्ष की अवधि पूरी करके आई थीं ।

(24) प्रश्न :- मोक्ष की अवधि पूरी करके आत्मा को मनुष्य शरीर ही मिलता है या जानवर का ?

उत्तर :- मनुष्य शरीर ही मिलता है ।

(25) प्रश्न :- क्यों केवल मनुष्य का ही शरीर क्यों मिलता है ? जानवर का क्यों नहीं ?

उत्तर :- क्योंकि मोक्ष को भोगने के बाद पुण्य कर्मों को तो भोग लिया , और इस मोक्ष की अवधि में पाप कोई किया ही नहीं तो फिर जानवर बनना सम्भव ही नहीं , तो रहा केवल मनुष्य जन्म जो कि कर्म शून्य आत्मा को मिल जाता है ।

(26) प्रश्न :- मोक्ष होने से पुनर्जन्म क्यों बन्द हो जाता है ?

उत्तर :- क्योंकि योगाभ्यास आदि साधनों से जितने भी पूर्व कर्म होते हैं ( अच्छे या बुरे ) वे सब कट जाते हैं । तो ये कर्म ही तो पुनर्जन्म का कारण हैं, कर्म ही न रहे तो पुनर्जन्म क्यों होगा ??

(27) प्रश्न :- पुनर्जन्म से छूटने का उपाय क्या है ?

उत्तर :- पुनर्जन्म से छूटने का उपाय है योग मार्ग से मुक्ति या मोक्ष का प्राप्त करना ।

(28) प्रश्न :- पुनर्जन्म में शरीर किस आधार पर मिलता है ?

उत्तर :- जिस प्रकार के कर्म आपने एक जन्म में किए हैं उन कर्मों के आधार पर ही आपको पुनर्जन्म में शरीर मिलेगा ।

(29) प्रश्न :- कर्म कितने प्रकार के होते हैं ?

उत्तर :- मुख्य रूप से कर्मों को तीन भागों में बाँटा गया है :- सात्विक कर्म , राजसिक कर्म , तामसिक कर्म ।

(१) सात्विक कर्म :- सत्यभाषण, विद्याध्ययन, परोपकार, दान, दया, सेवा आदि ।

(२) राजसिक कर्म :- मिथ्याभाषण, क्रीडा, स्वाद लोलुपता, स्त्रीआकर्षण, चलचित्र आदि ।

(३) तामसिक कर्म :- चोरी, जारी, जूआ, ठग्गी, लूट मार, अधिकार हनन आदि ।

और जो कर्म इन तीनों से बाहर हैं वे दिव्य कर्म कलाते हैं, जो कि ऋषियों और योगियों द्वारा किए जाते हैं । इसी कारण उनको हम तीनों गुणों से परे मानते हैं । जो कि ईश्वर के निकट होते हैं और दिव्य कर्म ही करते हैं ।

(30) प्रश्न :- किस प्रकार के कर्म करने से मनुष्य योनि प्राप्त होती है ?

उत्तर :- सात्विक और राजसिक कर्मों के मिलेजुले प्रभाव से मानव देह मिलती है , यदि सात्विक कर्म बहुत कम है और राजसिक अधिक तो मानव शरीर तो प्राप्त होगा परन्तु किसी नीच कुल में , यदि सात्विक गुणों का अनुपात बढ़ता जाएगा तो मानव कुल उच्च ही होता जायेगा । जिसने अत्यधिक सात्विक कर्म किए होंगे वो विद्वान मनुष्य के घर ही जन्म लेगा ।

(31) प्रश्न :- किस प्रकार के कर्म करने से आत्मा जीव जन्तुओं के शरीर को प्राप्त होता है ?

उत्तर :- तामसिक और राजसिक कर्मों के फलरूप जानवर शरीर आत्मा को मिलता है । जितना तामसिक कर्म अधिक किए होंगे उतनी ही नीच योनि उस आत्मा को प्राप्त होती चली जाती है । जैसे लड़ाई स्वभाव वाले , माँस खाने वाले को कुत्ता, गीदड़, सिंह, सियार आदि का शरीर मिल सकता है , और घोर तामसिक कर्म किए हुए को साँप, नेवला, बिच्छू, कीड़ा, काकरोच, छिपकली आदि । तो ऐसे ही कर्मों से नीच शरीर मिलते हैं और ये जानवरों के शरीर आत्मा की भोग योनियाँ हैं ।

(32) प्रश्न :- तो क्या हमें यह पता लग सकता है कि हम पिछले जन्म में क्या थे ? या आगे क्या होंगे ?

उत्तर :- नहीं कभी नहीं, सामान्य मनुष्य को यह पता नहीं लग सकता । क्योंकि यह केवल ईश्वर का ही अधिकार है कि हमें हमारे कर्मों के आधार पर शरीर दे । वही सब जानता है ।

(33) प्रश्न :- तो फिर यह किसको पता चल सकता है ?

उत्तर :- केवल एक सिद्ध योगी ही यह जान सकता है , योगाभ्यास से उसकी बुद्धि । अत्यन्त तीव्र हो चुकी होती है कि वह ब्रह्माण्ड एवं प्रकृति के महत्वपूर्ण रहस्य़ अपनी योगज शक्ति से जान सकता है । उस योगी को बाह्य इन्द्रियों से ज्ञान प्राप्त करने की आवश्यकता नहीं रहती है

वह अन्तः मन और बुद्धि से सब जान लेता है । उसके सामने भूत और भविष्य दोनों सामने आ खड़े होते हैं ।

(34) प्रश्न :- यह बतायें की योगी यह सब कैसे जान लेता है ?

उत्तर :- अभी यह लेख पुनर्जन्म पर है, यहीं से प्रश्न उत्तर का ये क्रम चला देंगे तो लेख का बहुत ही विस्तार हो जायेगा । इसीलिये हम अगले लेख में यह विषय विस्तार से समझायेंगे कि योगी कैसे अपनी विकसित शक्तियों से सब कुछ जान लेता है ? और वे शक्तियाँ कौन सी हैं ? कैसे प्राप्त होती हैं ? इसके लिए अगले लेख की प्रतीक्षा करें...

(35) प्रश्न :- क्या पुनर्जन्म के कोई प्रमाण हैं ?

उत्तर :- हाँ हैं, जब किसी छोटे बच्चे को देखो तो वह अपनी माता के स्तन से सीधा ही दूध पीने लगता है जो कि उसको बिना सिखाए आ जाता है क्योंकि ये उसका अनुभव पिछले जन्म में दूध पीने का रहा है, वर्ना बिना किसी कारण के ऐसा हो नहीं सकता । दूसरा यह कि कभी आप उसको कमरे में अकेला लेटा दो तो वो कभी कभी हँसता भी है , ये सब पुराने शरीर की बातों को याद करके वो हँसता है पर जैसे जैसे वो बड़ा होने लगता है तो धीरे धीरे सब भूल जाता है...!

(36) प्रश्न :- क्या इस पुनर्जन्म को सिद्ध करने के लिए कोई उदाहरण हैं...?

उत्तर :- हाँ, जैसे अनेकों समाचार पत्रों में, या TV में भी आप सुनते हैं कि एक छोटा सा बालक अपने पिछले जन्म की घटनाओं को याद रखे हुए है, और सारी बातें बताता है जहाँ जिस गाँव में वो पैदा हुआ, जहाँ उसका घर था, जहाँ पर वो मरा था । और इस जन्म में वह अपने उस गाँव में कभी गया तक नहीं था लेकिन फिर भी अपने उस गाँव की सारी बातें याद रखे हुए है , किसी ने उसको कुछ बताया नहीं, सिखाया नहीं, दूर दूर तक उसका उस गाँव से इस जन्म में कोई नाता नहीं है । फिर भी उसकी गुप्त बुद्धि जो कि सूक्ष्म शरीर का भाग है वह घटनाएँ संजोए हुए है जाग्रत हो गई और बालक पुराने जन्म की बातें बताने लग पड़ा...!

(37) प्रश्न :- लेकिन ये सब मनघड़ंत बातें हैं, हम विज्ञान के युग में इसको नहीं मान सकते क्योंकि वैज्ञानिक रूप से ये बातें बेकार सिद्ध होती हैं, क्या कोई तार्किक और वैज्ञानिक आधार है इन बातों को सिद्ध करने का ?

उत्तर :- आपको किसने कहा कि हम विज्ञान के विरुद्ध इस पुनर्जन्म के सिद्धान्त का दावा करेंगे । ये वैज्ञानिक रूप से सत्य है , और आपको ये हम अभी सिद्ध करके दिखाते हैं..!

(38) प्रश्न :- तो सिद्ध कीजीए ?

उत्तर :- जैसा कि आपको पहले बताया गया है कि मृत्यु केवल स्थूल शरीर की होती है, पर सूक्ष्म शरीर आत्मा के साथ वैसे ही आगे चलता है , तो हर जन्म के कर्मों के संस्कार उस बुद्धि में समाहित होते रहते हैं । और कभी किसी जन्म में वो कर्म अपनी वैसी ही परिस्थिती पाने के बाद जाग्रत हो जाते हैं

इसे उदहारण से समझें :- एक बार एक छोटा सा ६ वर्ष का बालक था, यह घटना हरियाणा के सिरसा के एक गाँव की है । जिसमें उसके माता पिता उसे एक स्कूल में घुमाने लेकर गये जिसमें उसका दाखिला करवाना था और वो बच्चा केवल हरियाणवी या हिन्दी भाषा ही जानता था कोई तीसरी भाषा वो समझ तक नहीं सकता था ।

लेकिन हुआ कुछ यूँ था कि उसे स्कूल की Chemistry Lab में ले जाया गया और वहाँ जाते ही उस बच्चे का मूँह लाल हो गया !! चेहरे के हावभाव बदल गये !!

और उसने एकदम फर्राटेदार French भाषा बोलनी शुरू कर दी !! उसके माता पिता बहुत डर गये और घबरा गये , तुरंत ही बच्चे को अस्पताल ले जाया गया । जहाँ पर उसकी बातें सुनकर डाकटर ने एक दुभाषिये का प्रबन्ध किया ।

जो कि French और हिन्दी जानता था , तो उस दुभाषिए ने सारा वृतान्त उस बालक से पूछा तो उस बालक ने बताया कि " मेरा नाम Simon Glaskey है और मैं French Chemist हूँ । मेरी मौत मेरी प्रयोगशाला में एक हादसे के कारण ( Lab. ) में हुई थी । "

तो यहाँ देखने की बात यह है कि इस जन्म में उसे पुरानी घटना के अनुकूल मिलती जुलती परिस्थिति से अपना वह सब याद आया जो कि उसकी गुप्त बुद्धि में दबा हुआ था । यानि की वही पुराने जन्म में उसके साथ जो प्रयोगशाला में हुआ, वैसी ही प्रयोगशाला उस दूसरे जन्म में देखने पर उसे सब याद आया । तो ऐसे ही बहुत सी उदहारणों से आप पुनर्जन्म को वैज्ञानिक रूप से सिद्ध कर सकते हो...!

(39) प्रश्न :- तो ये घटनाएँ भारत में ही क्यों होती हैं ? पूरा विश्व इसको मान्यता क्यों नहीं देता ?

उत्तर :- ये घटनायें पूरे विश्व भर में होती रहती हैं और विश्व इसको मान्यता इसलिए नहीं देता क्योंकि उनको वेदानुसार यौगिक दृष्टि से शरीर का कुछ भी ज्ञान नहीं है । वे केवल माँस और हड्डियों के समूह को ही शरीर समझते हैं , और उनके लिए आत्मा नाम की कोई वस्तु नहीं है । तो ऐसे में उनको न जीवन का ज्ञान है, न मृत्यु का ज्ञान है, न आत्मा का ज्ञान है, न कर्मों का ज्ञान है, न ईश्वरीय व्यवस्था का ज्ञान है । और अगर कोई पुनर्जन्म की कोई घटना उनके सामने आती भी है तो वो इसे मानसिक रोग जानकर उसको Multiple Personality Syndrome का नाम देकर अपना पीछा छुड़ा लेते हैं और उसके कथनानुसार जाँच नहीं करवाते हैं...!

(40) प्रश्न :- क्या पुनर्जन्म केवल पृथिवी पर ही होता है या किसी और ग्रह पर भी ?

उत्तर :- ये पुनर्जन्म पूरे ब्रह्माण्ड में यत्र तत्र होता है, कितने असंख्य सौरमण्डल हैं, कितनी ही पृथीवियाँ हैं । तो एक पृथीवी के जीव मरकर ब्रह्माण्ड में किसी दूसरी पृथीवी के उपर किसी न किसी शरीर में भी जन्म ले सकते हैं । ये ईश्वरीय व्यवस्था के अधीन है...

परन्तु यह बड़ा ही अजीब लगता है कि मान लो कोई हाथी मरकर मच्छर बनता है तो इतने बड़े हाथी की आत्मा मच्छर के शरीर में कैसे घुसेगी..?
